The first place to look for federal government information is
the new (2005) site called
FirstGov.gov. This site has a quick link on the left margin to "Laws"
where you can find a law by search engines, plus many others links. One of
the most used - to find and print out any government form. Imagine!
Social Security, IRS, you name it, forms. Even passport applications.
Incidentally, the government has a general phone number of 1-800-FED-INFO
(800/333-4636) that can get you a real live person at most federal agencies.
Google’s US Government Search Service Google has launched a US government search site. Although primarily created for
government employees, the general public can access the search facilities to
find government information.
